Midtronics Battery Tester Software Download
Description: Since 1997 the Micro 390 battery tester has been used by Ford dealers in order to test batteries and to produce a warranty test code. With the introduction of the EUCD and C-Car platform (S-Max, new Mondeo etc.) the Micro 390 battery tester is no longer suitable for diagnostics of future vehicles, because batteries are fitted in such a way, that the minus terminal of the battery is not accessible anymore. Instead, there is an extra cable fitted from the hidden minus terminal to the chassis. The new EXP-1050 tester can achieve testing batteries in-vehicle, also on the new Ford platforms. Unlike the Micro 390, the EXP-1050 produces a 11-digit test code.
