Fix common Craig driver problems using these step by step instructions. Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button.
Hi, So a week ago I had just got my Windows 10 Tablet when I started noticing problems. Whenever I wake my tablet from sleep the wifi has a red x on it or a yellow exclamation mark. I then have to reset the wifi adapter to get it working. It's getting real annoying now because I have to do it every time I use my tablet. BTW, I have used the troubleshooters to no avail and have tried to turn off 'allow the computer to turn off this device'. (If I could find it!
I think that option is only on Windows 8.1) Thanks, Ram Jayakumar SPECS: Windows 10 Insignia 8' Tablet Wifi Adapter: Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO Network Adapter. Click Configure, then go to Power Management tab. Uncheck or clear the option Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Now see if it fix the issue. From your description, I suspect that the problem might be appearing with the incompatible Wireless Network drivers.
If you see no network connection, after you wake-up your tablet from sleep, go to Device Manager, then s pot and expand the “ Network Adaptor”. Right click on the network driver and select “ Disable”. When it prompts to choose an option, click OK. Try to re-enable it by right-clicking on it.
Now check if the issue still appears. Follow below mentioned troubleshooting steps for updating the drivers and see if they corrects the issue. Method 1: You may update the Network drivers from Device Manager manually and check if this helps. C) If it doesn’t fix, then right click on the network driver and select “ Update Driver Software”. When it prompts to choose an option How do you want to search driver, then go with Search automatically for updated driver software.

( Ensure that PC is connected to Internet while performing this step) d). Once this is done, restart the computer to check the problem fixed. If it doesn't fix the issue, then Right click on the same driver and select “ Uninstall” then restart the system and let the system install the driver automatically on Start.
